Las Cruces boasts a very active off-road bicycle community. A good place to start is the Monumental Loop Facebook page. The good folks at Outdoor Adventures can also connect you to the off-road community.
 
 
Road Rides
 
The Mesilla Valley offers a variety of bicycle road rides. Generally riding east–west involves terrain changes ranging from flat in the Rio Grande basin, to rolling hills, and to steeper climbs up the east and west mesas and up into the Organ Mountains. Riding north and south along the river bed offers flat roads and a bucolic environment. Riding along the Interstate access roads offers rolling hills.
